Honourable Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif inaugurates Byco Oil Pakistan Limited

Byco Oil Pakistan Limited, Pakistan's largest oil refinery located at Mouza Kund, District Lasbela, Balochistan was inaugurated by Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif on Friday June 12, 2015.
Amir Abbassciy – Group CEO, Byco Industries Incorporated along with senior officials of Byco Group received the honourable guests and dignitaries at the site. Present at the inauguration ceremony along with PM were Chief Minister of Balochistan - Dr Abdul Malik Baloch, Federal Minister for Finance – Ishaq Dar, Federal Minister for Commerce – Khurram Dastgir Khan, Minister of State for Petroleum and Natural Resources – Jam Kamal Khan Alyani , CEO Abraaj Group - Arif Masood Naqvi and other senior federal and provincial dignitaries
Board of Directors, Chief Executive Officers and Senior Executives of the companies of the peer group, customers, working partners from the sectors like oil & gas, finance/banking, power & energy, port & shipping, technical services etc. were also present at this auspicious occasion.
Speaking at the event, Prime Minister claimed that this oil refinery in Balochistan was "an important milestone". He further added that it would lead to economic development of the province and the country and also provide employment opportunities in the region.
The country’s largest oil refinery complex will be able capable to refine 155,000 barrels of crude oil per day, fulfilling around 39 per cent of country’s petroleum needs and reducing reliance on petroleum products import.
