Our History

Cnergyico Group was founded by the Founder Chairman, Mr. Parvez Abbasi (Late) in mid-90’s with a vision to pioneer change in the energy sector of Pakistan. With his vision, Cnergyico Pk Limited was formed in January 1995 as a public limited company.

Cnergyico installed its first oil refinery with a capacity of 30,000 bpd at Mouza Kund, Hub, Balochistan, and started its commercial production from July 1, 2004 with various saleable components including Liquefied Petroleum Gas, Light Naphtha, Heavy Naphtha, High Octane Blending Component, Motor Gasoline, Kerosene, Jet Fuels, High Speed Diesel and Furnace Oil.

In 2007, Cnergyico decided to enter the Petroleum Marketing Business and set up its first retail outlet, and since then the retail network has grown immensely.

After the first refinery implementation, the group decided to commence another project to implement a 120,000 barrels a day refinery under the new company, Byco Oil Pakistan Limited, in 2008.

In 2012, Cnergyico achieved another milestone by successfully completing its Single Point Mooring (SPM) project. This floating liquid port is the first of its kind in the country and has a capacity to handle very large petroleum cargo vessels.

In Dec 2015, Cnergyico successfully commissioned the largest refinery in the country. This new refinery is installed in the vicinity of the existing refinery and has a capacity of 120,000 barrels a day.
