Raja Muhammad Abbas after serving Pakistan Navy from 1971 to 1980, joined Government of Pakistan in District Management Group. Besides corporate sector assignment, Mr. Abbas enjoys decades of a rich experience in key administrative/ governance, and policy making position(s) in the Government of Pakistan, including the following:

With a Bachelors of Science degree from University of Karachi, Mr. Abbass attended various professional/ educational courses/ trainings including National Management - Administrative Staff College; Administration and Management - Civil Service Academy; General and Revenue Administration - Civil Services Academy; Development Manager's Course from Asian Institute of Management (AIM), Manila; Protection of Environment, Bangkok, Thailand; Managing the In-Company Training Function, Japan; and Industrial Relations for Higher Productivity & Employment Generation, Colombia, Sri Lanka.

Besides being Selection Board Member at Kohsar University, Murree, Syndicate Member at Women University, Rawalpindi, and Arid Agriculture University, Rawalpindi, Mr. Abbas’s corporate sector assignments include directorships at Askari Bank Limited, Sindh Bank Limited, Sindh Insurance Limited, and Sindh Leasing Company.
